Update
Dec 2005
After the less than perfect start to the season
things did improve as the year went on. Our
trusted Kawasaki ZX10R took a few months to
get going again as first the chassis problems
after the big crash at Snetterton and then the
intermittent power loss due to electronics took
their toll. We did however manage to get her
sorted and she is now giving a reliable 170
BHP at the wheel , in Superstock spec.
She has also just returned from four days of
testing in Cartagena courtesy of the UK No1
track day company " Focused Events " and she
is now handling a treat.

I
also had a bit of a set up session with British
Superstock front runner and ex GP rider, Adrian
Coates who despite his Irish accent managed
to comunicate to me that to go faster I must
open the throttle sooner and brake later, brilliant
now that I know that I`m sure I`ll win everything
from now on. I have also agreed to ride a Yamaha
R1 in next years British Endurance Championship
with multiple championship winners Moores Racing,
I had rides with them at this years Snetterton
and Donington rounds and as a result of some
solid rides I shall be doing the whole championship
with them next year. Check us out on www.mooresracing.co.uk

So
while this year has not gone entirely to plan
, we did finish the British Endurance Championship
in 3rd place, and managed to get a full time
ride for next year , so not all bad news.
The R1 will be coming over soon to be prepared
for testing in January. The engine is fully
built and ready to go in. We are all very excited.
The "works" ZX10R , will also have its day of
glory and funds permitting she will be competing
in the initial rounds of the Bemsee Nationwide
" Forza Extreme " championship as well as possibly
doing a round or two of the British Superstock
Championship, then we will concentrate on our
British Endurance Championship commitments with
the Yamaha. I will also be riding her at selected
" Focused Events " track days where I will be
offering bike set up and free race instruction,
check out www.focusedevents.co.uk
All the race dates and results will be published
on the racing page of our website and everybody
is welcome to come and support at the meetings(
ie, take the pee ) Vince Peccarino
